Grass is green right???? NO! Not when you us the word grass in a paint color. There is rye grass, wheat grass, bamboo grass… the list goes on and on… Needless to say, we are working on painting the house, and the internet colors lied to us. I blame color, not the internet.. the internet is never wrong ![]()
I did something new this weekend. I went ice skating! It was a blast. Liz and her family are from up north, so ice skating is like q required class in order to graduate high school or something. Being from South Carolina, you mention a skating rink, there are wheels on your feet (and that is wheels side by side in my day, none of this inline bullhookie). It was a lot of fun and I managed not to fall! Honestly, I was a little worried that I would fall and break a collar bone. I would be pissed, not that I broke the bone, but that I didn’t do it on a bike. Just seems wrong some how…
Ugh… Clemson lost.. again.. to UNC at UNC. Was a good first half, but the second half was less then pretty. All and all, it is great just to see Clemson basketball as something other than a half time show between football seasons. But ugh… my mom was not even a teenager the last time we won in Chapel Hill….
Red fluid coming from the engine is bad….. Something is spewing red transmission fluid….. Had to get more at lunch, the truck is not feeling good today.
I had no idea that we were going to get snow until lunch on Monday. Course, the weather men around here are wrong so often about snow, i really don’t pay attention to them when they call for it. But, there was about 6 to 7 inches on the back deck by Tuesday afternoon! It was beautiful outside. Liz and I ended up walking to Foodlion and getting some food for Dinner. Matt and Erin joined us. Matt makes his own beer and bread, both were awesome!!
Don’t know if you ever watch “The Biggest Loser” or not, but last season, there were two people from Raleigh on the show; Heba and Ed. I met them outside of Gold’s gym the other day . They both looked great and were very nice. Guess the show really does change lives.
Sitting here waiting on customers to provide information about a problem…. This rather sucks. If you are going to call someone and ask for help, don’t do it at 4:00pm and don’t do it when you have no idea whats wrong. Sigh…..
We donated Another $17,000.00 to the Lance Armstrong Foundation today. We are going to try and get another $1,000.00 in the mail by the end of the year, but don’t think we are going to be able to. We are still waiting for a check from Active.com for some donations that just came in. Woo Hoo!!!!!!
Dave and I, along with Liz and Tom Bland, went to the Rex Cancer center to being them another big check. It is great giving back to a cause that does so much for so many needing people.
